Touch somebody's hand
It brings comfort when you are down
When the journey seems falling apart
You are alone in the new city
The traffic lights never stop
The cars cruising hardly drivers look
You carry your bags waiting on the kerb
Taxis all disappear
In the new city
You want to make a new life
Eyes surveying the crowd
There is no familiar face
Touch somebody's hand
Else your day will be dreary
You will feel so weary
In the new city
As the light turning dim
You wonder you make a right choice
As new person in the city
Then you see from a distance
A smile of the familiar face
walking across the street
Touching your hand
You know you will make it
