the numbers game

The numbers game
On the Selangor crisis
For a man who forgets
Honesty the best medicine

One sided step
Listening to both sides
The palace forgets to do
The man has no majority stake

On the ground
The perception of intrigue
Going ala Perak
It shouldn't visit Selangor

A political party
Holding it out
Instead of supporting its comrades
It stinks in our minds

Why wait so long?
A simple decision to make
In the coalition as partners
It shouldn't take that long

It lays the ground
The cables swimming ferociously
Trying to fish for frogs
Money the fall for many

Honesty the best medicine
In time of need friends should come
It shouldn't be hanging out
For the numbers game

There are still some members
In the party who are honest to declare publicly
Supporting the united coalition stand
It augurs well in the spirit of accommodation
