I heard it wrong in the neighbourhood
Early
morning rise before the sun
The
sound of puppies and kittens
The
matured dogs just walk around
“Well
guys we know it all along
It's
the season of animal births
Giving
the humans some headaches”
The
owners just don't bother
Neutered
animals no unnecessary births
It
makes a nuisance in the neighbourhood
With
its poo and urination
The
owners think differently
They
think they offer them a place to stay
But
the responsibility falls in shadow
They
don't listen to neighbours sentiments
The
darkness morning rise
The
lights from surrounding homes and street
The

The
