the red dust

The red dust
It isn't gold
It's health hazard
Living in this condition

The workers and drivers
The neighbourhood areas
Once the dust settles
Count the costs in later years

The short term solutions
Creating jobs for the locals
Increase the coffers of the State
But at what price to humans?

The illness will come
The damages cause to the environment
The sea water and underground wells
It is back to the humans

Even it is stopped now
The damages cause to the environment is great
It may take years to rectify the eco-system
What about the price for humans suffering?
