It lost its independence

When Gerakan managed Penang

It was under the control of Amno Baru

It seemed everything under orders to do

Its leaders were weakling afraid to hit back

The last two elections in 2008 and 2013

The Penangites hit Gerakan to the ground

The party could hardly breathe

Yet its leaders didn't learn the lessons

Today Gerakan still talks big

Running down the opponents

Its leaders forget to look in the mirror

Penangites had buried them for good

This coming election

Gerakan will lick its wounds again

There is no way to return to the old system

It smells of misdeeds, greed and corruption

Penang Pakatan has its CAT system

Though it may have its rough edges

It still makes the grade in Penang

In GE14 Pakatan will still rule the island
