the shaggy dog

The shaggy dog
Roam around the streets
He doesn't bark at anybody
He is on his own so it seems

Every morning he will walk
The shaggy dog for all to see
Once he has a master to feed him
Now he has gone to look after his grand kids

The shaggy dog
He walks to look for his food
Any crumbs he can find
He is grateful to be alive

But the owner of the dog
He has no time to take his walk
Now he has his grand kids to play
The shaggy dog is left to find his food

Once an Indian family would feed him
Now the family shifted house a few months ago
Leaving the shaggy dog alone to see his world
While his master goes to the city caring for his grand kids
