The Humpty Dumpty
fell
The pieces
scattered nobody cares to pick
Though it cries for
sympathy
The wind blowing it
away
Down on the luck
Playing innocent
victim
Yet still saying arrogantly
Regrets never flow
into it
The pieces on the
ground
Gathering dust and
moss
With rain and
sunshine
The broken pieces
slowly realize
Nobody cares now
The people don’t
want to hear
The decades of
arrogance
It is time Humpty
Dumpty sleeps
