The black dogs
still have the meat bones
They haven't seen
the last of it
It will happen as
the years drag on
The gravy train has
stopped long ago
The black dogs
still bark
At the corners and
side streets
They show their
fangs and pointed ears
They say of their
own kind in bond
No other dogs have
intruded into the domain
They leave the
black dogs their space and habits
They only say the
black dogs must follow the law
No dogs worth is
soul would bite the messenger
Yet the black dogs
never see
They only see they
have the advantages
In numbers they say
they should hold court
But it is wishful
thinking making them feel superior
The law of the land
The black dogs will
run
Once the marching
orders arrive
The black dogs will
not escape
