In the seat of power

It isn't forever to a leader

A day will come he has to walk down

The same steps he will take

He will meet the familiar faces

The faces he thinks he knows well

Once the power is gone in his grip

He will realize he has nothing

The faces will tell him

Goodbye isn't hard to say

Out of the power circle

A leader will realize his worth

In life one has to be humble

Even in the seat of power

Use words of encouragement

For power is only temporary

If you think you are powerful

Go read the scriptures

God will see where you stand

So it is good to stay humble
