The
back streets
Nobody
really wants to walk
There
is the smell of garbage tongs
The
bad elements hide
The
drug addicts group together
The
faces of the marks of life gone
If
only they know about their lives
Standing
at the back streets
The
cats will roam freely
Living
on handouts from the back kitchens
The
crumbs for their Ronin ways
The
multiplying of the generations
But
some back streets
The
roaring businesses away from the core centres
They
thrive on serving good food and drinks
The
owners light up and clean up the back streets
The
back streets
The
shady characters exist
They
make fear
So
they can rob and live
The
back streets
Attract
the shadows of the night
The
dim light shadows
The
bad elements wait to score
