The
Persian ginger cat
Sitting
quietly sullen face
Locked
in his cage
The
newspapers covered
Half
of his view
I
whistle to him
He
doesn't show his like
He
stares at me
“Why
bother?
I
can't go anywhere”
Two
pigeons fly by
Stay
on to show the Persian cat
He
has no time to chase
The
pigeons walk bravely
The
Persian cat only stares
Nothing
for him to do
Dreaming
to get out of his cage
But
he can't escape
He
sits in his cage for months
The
sulky face
In
his cage
He
isn't a happy cat
He
has no companions
He
is all alone and feeling misery
