The death row inmates
They will know the price they pay
The hanging rope will not go away
Until a new government make the changes
The law is blind
It has no preference
Once a crime is committed
The law will take effect
The judges will read the law
They can't interpret differently
They have to give judgements
When the prosecution get the upper hand
Don't expect the judges to show compassion
They will read the law as it stands
Take a life is a serious matter
The death row inmates will realize
Taking lives away from the death row inmates
It shouldn't be our business to carry it through
We aren't the Creator of lives but God
Let the Creator decide their fate
It is best they stay in prison
Live their lives within the 4 walls
Live and pray for repentance
The death penalty shouldn't be enforced
