The small ginger kitten
Staring at the gate
Where the owner has gone for holidays
She looks seeing the empty space
Slowly she creeps out from the gate
Feeling her freedom in the open
She walks over to the neighbour's house
Smell a different aroma
The mother grey cat keeps her eyes on her
The small kitten quickly runs back
The mother cat licks her kitten as if to say “ good girl”
The big sister ginger cat only looks
The white father cat comes along
Slowly he walks in to feel his family of cats
In the empty house where the owner gone for holidays
The cats stay quiet in the house
The small ginger kitten
Better grows up fast
Because the owner may come back
For the Mooncake festival and prayers
The outcome will be different
The kitten will be thrown in the market
There she will find her survival instinct
So she better grows up fast for her own good
