O THE DRACONIAN LAWS!

O the draconian laws!
The misery you wreck for all
You dare not engage the dissidents
You put them all in prison
Without trial forgetting about basic law
Innocent until proven guilty

The piece of legislation
Outdated crafted by the colonial administration
Yet the government of the day ridicule about the past
One of these laws the government uses it to create fear
Against the people; against the people’s heroes

The government for the people
Elected by the voters
Now the elected leaders come
Catching dissidents against the rule of administration
Of misuse of power, corruption and drinking wealth
Under the disguise of projects for the country

The tainted sleeping administration
O the draconian laws to strike fear!
The truth will be told many times over
You can’t catch all of them
For these people will keep marching
Spreading it underground

The government of the day
It is the protection of the people
They give the trust to the leaders
Don’t misuse it for your selfish ends

O the draconian laws!
The misery you wreck for all
Catching the good guys
Let off the bad apples
The misery in democratic country
