When the country needs
It doesn’t go astray

The power crazy
Say all sorts of things
The ruling party
It doesn’t wake up to reality

Speak of race
By right it should be buried long ago
After 51 years of independence
We haven’t broken free
All of us are immigrants anyway

Learn the Constitution
The groundwork agreed
Let its spirit flow
Yet it is amended; changed direction
Satisfying the ruling party
Leaving others grabbing for a share

The MPs think about it
Elected by the people for the people
When things haven’t gotten it right
Change direction the people need
It is in your hands
Make the right decision
Don’t delay it any more
For the country can’t wait for you
The marching must go on
Until change is formed

Don’t worry about ethical
It is for the people and country
Do it before it becomes too late
You lose the opportunity; the people lose it all
So make your stand
Save the country and her people
