The crystal clear water
Staring right into your eyes
Winking and dancing in the light
The magical glow of nature works

And we think we have seen it all
The journeys and trials in our life
It is still a long way out of focus
When we sit and think about it

We have been tested everyday
Amongst ourselves; amongst friends
With the government and its policies
With the politicians and their childish antics

The sparkling glow in the clear shining water
Eyes staring at it for quite awhile
The natural flow without cohesion
The way God makes His presence
Many people miss it in their lives

The eyes through the lens
The focus of the objects
The way the eyes want it to be
On the exactness of the positive flow
Into a pattern fixed on a focus

What you see?
Your own shadow rising
Wanting to touch it
The glory one wishes
Yet it is just an illusion
We haven’t learned
Our trials and sins
All those years ago

But Allah shows His presence
In everything our eyes to see everyday
Touching our souls telling us don’t get worked up
Learn the lessons cultivate good values
In time the journey will be completed
