RPK the man behind the news
Writing it as he sees his right
Without fear or favor

The BN government doesn’t like him
Finding ways to lock him up for good
He writes many articles he thinks he is right
Finding faults spinning his tales

The cohorts signed police reports
Claiming all sorts of accusations
Without even dare to engage him with
He is finally taken away

Under ISA
A second time he goes back for detention
The naughty boy got whacked again
Into the detention centre he will stay

Fighting his causes
He believes to make the country prosper
The corrupted leaders dare not see him eye to eye
One of them signed order for ISA
RPK goes back to detention again

The silent prayers
The silent marching begin
For the truth must prevail
Against oppression and corruption
Amongst the country political leaders

The time for change must come
Else it will be the dark days ahead
For the freedom to associate
For the freedom to say your peace
Without hurting any one sensibility
