The cry of a child
Alone abuse in the home
Nobody knows
Only tears flow
The neighbours don't know
They are too busy with working life
Some come home late at night
When silence whisper
Some don't want to bother
It is that family affair
Let them have it their way
They mind own business
Yet the child crying
Begging for help alone in the house
The abusing parents or maids
The child alone seeking out deliverance
The consciousness rule
Finally a knock and a help
The bewildered faces of parents
As their child is rescued put in welfare home
Until the court decides
There are many children abused
In the homes by parents or relatives
The crying will be knocking into society
Nobody should turn deaf and keep silence
Help must be rendered to society
For it is our duty to make it safe
