Along the swampy areas
Firing small lights
In the dark shadow

The natural way
Only we forget to let it stays
We let our greed over-rides
Destroying the natural habitat

Fireflies in the night
Once I used to play with it
Capturing them in bottle
Glowing in the dark night

I could see the glow
Blossom with beautiful light
In unity they show its colour
Fireflies in the night

Now I don't see
The fireflies in the night
Only in swampy dark areas
Come together for a last fling

The fireflies of the night
It will be gone in our time
The natural connection all gone
On our greed and fools we have been
