Chinese Funeral
The funeral procession begins
The early morning sun rays
It is hot in the hours
The hearse arrives
The band playing sentimental music
The sombre mood amongst the crowd
The day the durian seller will be buried
The lion dance drumbeats rolling in
The roasted pig on the table
The paper car bearing number 2013
A believe of prosperity in the after life
As the Taoist priests conduct the funeral services
The children and relatives take the bow
The final respect for the dearly parted soul
Only remembering the good yarn of his life
Living amongst them as they remembered
Tears falling the last goodbye
As the coffin takes to the hearse
The sentimental music keep playing
And Teresa Teng's “Goodbye my love”
Now the funeral procession
The slow ride on the road
The last show for the departed soul
For his journey just begins
