The Kettle, Clearwater River
The mouth of The Kettle. It's called that because
the water churns in the big pool like it's boiling in a cauldron.
They stir the cauldron
Under the heat of fire
The boiling temperature rising
Over the top the lid bubbling
The squeezing air sound
It chills the bones out...
The bubbling hot liquid flow
The meltdown of cohesiveness
The fray rope of unity
How many times to test the strength?
Instead of moving forward to grab the opportunity
The heat of fire putting it out backwards
They stir the cauldron
Under the heat of fire
They sweat on their bodies
Over the top the lid bubbling
Then the torrent rain
They run to hide in dry places
The fire of heat petered out
A new team; a new plan to glow
