the night dragon
There are balls of light
Flying high in the night sky
“Bloom!” the dark night turns
The sparkles of pieces of falling lints
“You aren't afraid of me?
When you see me you will run
I must tell you now
You don't like to see”
Then the mist appears
Covering the distance in misty white
The man holds on to his cigarette
“Come on you don't frightened me!”
“As I said when you see me
You will run for your life
Is this not making you feel hopeless?
I know you want to be a man!”

He opens his eyes to see
Focusing it with sweat flowing
“I think you are afraid
The nature of the unknown
You can't see me right now
When you do, I bet you will cry”
The man moves behind the naked trees
Peeping from the tree trunk to see
As the white mist slowly disappears
A fierce dragon blowing high
The man wants to run
He isn't quick enough
The dragon catches him
From his neck bringing him close up
“Now what say you?
You have seen the beast
I am not the ghost
I am fierce and deadly”
“I never do you any harm
I am here to wait for my date
Please don't eat me............
I don't want to die this way!”
“You think you can escape me?
I am the flying dragon with his pearl of fire
I am in the minority in this world
You have destroyed without considerations”
“I am not the one
There are others who did harm to Nature
I am just part of the population
Living on this planet
“You don't believe me?
I beg you to let me live”
The dragon puffs his nostrils
Hot fire blowing it out
“You think you are in majority
You can do as you please on this planet
Once we ruled this world
The World of Dragons!
Like your kind
We were proud of our race
We thought we were invincible
We were undefeated beings!
Then we found ourselves losing
Some died of diseases or natural causes
Some were shot down by ancient people
Then it left me alone in this world”
“You are letting me go?”
The dragon turns his red eyes
“I want you listen to me
Change your ways quickly!
You can't do as you please
The planet isn't your race alone
There are others sharing her glory
Let there be give and take
Our history is gone
You have a right to a place
So you shouldn't do anything stupid
You have a chance to live in heaven!”
“You are letting me go?
I thank you for telling me your story
I will remember it as I walk free
This night it gives me the creep”
