The
stray cats
Running
loose on the road
Sitting
leisurely at the back lanes
Grooming
under the shades
Sometimes
they get crumbs
Throw
by the housewives
Through
the kitchen windows
The
stray cats like
Nobody
wants to catch the strays
The
cats don't fetch monetary value
The
houseowners will chase away
The
stray cats trespassing through
Though
the stray cats are nuisance
Stained
the garden and urine
The
humans are their slaves
Cleaning
it up staring at the strays
At
a pet shop I walk by
I
see a mix breed for sale
A
mix of siamese and persian cat
In
the cage waiting for buyers
There
is no price tag
I
believe it could be a stolen cat
It
is an adult male with blue eyes
Sitting
quietly in the cage
He
will look
Hoping
to get out of the cage
But
many are interested in birds
So
the poor cat sits alone and wait
The
stray cats causing nuisance
The
poo and urine in the garden
Sometimes
in the porch or near pillars
The
marks of their visit and return
