The harsh reality
Of living poor
There is always no tomorrow
Today is forever struggling to live
Some have to live
In the open spaces or under the bridges
Even on the parks or near to petrol stations
As living poor really bites into life
The politicians will not see them around
They are somewhere finding ways to benefit themselves
The poor living in harsh reality
The politicians hardly notice them
Unless reporters write about the poor
The politicians then will jump in for publicity
They will show their concern as if they care
But in reality they don't seem to know
Living in harsh reality
The poor will struggle to live
Tomorrow will not be in their minds
Today they will find it hard to survive
