We can't change history

We can't spin a different tale

Because the winner can't change

Even if he wants to make it

In history we learn

The rise and fall of any man

The rise and fall of an empire

The causes and effects of it

It is in the records

It is in oral history passing down

From generation to generation

The past events can't be changed

Even a murderer can be called a hero

In history he was a slave trader

Selling human lives for profit

He killed because he lost his cash cow!

Will his generation feel proud?

I doubt they will as history will record

He planned a murder for his lost of slave trading

We can't change history but learn its truth

In history we learn

The mistakes of the past

From there we plan for tomorrow

For today will be gone with time
