we don't pray as often as we like

When we were young

We didn't pray as often as we like

We have excuses to escape the ritual

Late nights, homework or work

Thinking of praying

Is always not in the radar

It is always on finding wealth

Feed the body and mind

Every waking hour

Thinking of an easy life

Living in the dreams

Believing it can happen

As the years passing on

Dreams happen or fail in pursuit

Age is ranking up its numbers

Then we have to change our goals

Praying will begin

Praying for forgiveness and sins

The decades of neglect

Saying sorry is the easiest to reflect

Life is a witch

It grooms and make us itch

Searching for the good life

Sometimes we fail or cry or regret

But praying will ease the flow

The echo of words and silence grow

The feeling of lightness in the mind

The pursuit will begin to enjoy life
