In the morning rise

I walked in the porch

I heard kittens meowing

I checked with a torchlight

I saw the same mother cat

Huddling close with her kittens

I thought she shifted her hiding place

Maybe yesterday she shifted back here

Put the kittens in the box

So they could not crawl around

The mother cat kept watching

For a while she stayed

I found one missing

Maybe died 2 days ago

The mother cat decided to shift

Taking her kittens with her

This time maybe I will not see

The kittens in the garden now

Hope the mother cat finds a place

To permanently put her kittens safe
