The neighbour across the street

A lorry came to put up tent

The standing fans and blue chairs

The signal of a death in the house

The last she was talking

When her friend came to visit

She was standing at her porch

With a hat over her head

It was like 10 days or so ago

I heard of high blood pressure or some

While her sons came to stay over night

For weeks it was the old routine

This early morning she was gone

Maybe I suspect it could be cancer

But her sons never say to her neighbour

A good friend I heard those years ago

When bad illness claims a stake

Do not stay quiet or feel ashamed

Ask for help when doctors fail

Because the doctors depend on drugs

When there is cancer or other bad illness

Remedy it with baking soda and raw honey

It will help to stop or kill the virus

At night mix turmeric, raw honey and ginger juice

We shouldn't stop fighting

The doctors will not think for us
