The billions they sing
The political leaders dance
On the stage of power
“Who dares to take me?”
The cronies parade
Circling around them
Showering with praises
“Who dares to take me?”
The watch dogs sniffing
Listening to the bragging
On the stage by the leach
“Who dares to take me?”
They plunder discreetly
They smile with knowing glee
Donate a few here and there
Few projects initiated spending money
The police reports made
Bundles tied up in golden string
Through backdoor it disappears
“Who dares to take me?”
The people cry
Loudly to vent their frustrations
Petitions and memorandum submitted
Demonstrations of displeasure
Yet there are walls blocking
Turning them into water cannons
The laws swiftly invoke on them
“Who dares to take me?”
God move the chess players
On the square the light begins
“Who dares to take me?”
“I am your God I will decide your fate”
