the big hollow

The Warlords

The Warlords

The black knight riding along
Puffing his horse on the rough terrain
He surveys the crowd of rural people
He knows he has a long battle

The fixed deposits he claimed
Out of the blue he thought he could
He thought these people would give
The way it was decades ago

He roared with confidence
The members surrounding him
The air of crowd gathering
He can't feel the heart beating

The black knight shifts his focus
Looking at his own warlords
This is the problem he has
He can't sack them as he likes

He senses the shift
The line of his credit diminishes
He can't hold the fort together
Too much baggage on his shoulders

This battle he knows
There is no way he could win
The villagers have learned lessons
It's payback time in big hollow
