A lonely bird watches
On it's nest by the bamboo trees
In the early morning sun rays
It calls for the partner's name
For days the partner never appears
Like the phantom never seen again
It calls its partner no signal from any where
The little egg in the nest
The lost cause it may happen
An egg laid wasted in the nest
It's partner never flies in
For days it is the same routine
On the sun going down
Sometimes it hangs around the palm trees
Calling softly for its partner
The empty echo ringing in the cloudy day
