a single mother with her children

A single woman and her children
They were left alone to feed themselves
The daily life full of uncertainties
The needs to survive flashing in their eyes

Once she got married
Life wasn't the roses bloom
She found out the thorns
Too many children to feed

Too much sex without family planning
The children were born strain on the relationships
In time the hungry look to pay bills and survive
The man left leaving her the burden to bear

Some children she gave away
She couldn't afford to keep them
Life is already draining her resources
She has to do what is required

With no skills and paper qualification
Finding job will be hard to come by
In the city of darkness and light
The children crying needs to survive

A monther has to do
What is necessary to stay alive
She trades her body
To earn money to buy her needs

Maybe she doesn't want
With hungry mouths to feed
Life of prostitution seems easy
Parading herself clients come to pay

A single mother with her children
Along the streets of the city
Life of roses bloom never happened
A sad tale when man runs away
