the dry weather

The dry weather and wind
The long haul of heat of the sun
Nature sending messages
It isn't over by a long haul

The peat fires
The smoke in the air
The fire brigade will be busy
Ringing telephones

Just imagine the scenes
The small fires burning
The smoke get into our eyes
We breathe in difficulty

Do we learn all those years?
I guess we haven't done so
The massive clearing of land
In the engine of developments

The reclaimation of sea land
Tilting the eco-system
The floods will come
How stupid are we?

Floods have gone for now
Now we must see the fires
Blooming up in the sky
Of haze and heat of the sun
