Fraser's Hill
The place of cool temperature
Those years gone by
The falling mists
The cool breezes
The tweeting of birds
The whirring of the wind
The golfers shouted of joy
The golf balls fly
The developments came
The apartments and bungalows built
In later years some were abandoned
The local said of haunted homes
Nobody could vouch for it
It was just rumoured or was it?
Once I heard of a story
An Indian man slept in an abandoned bungalow
He didn't believe in ghosts or evil spirits
But it scared the shit out of him
When he found he slept on the 9th hole golf course
When the sun risen in the morning!
He was working there for the corporation
Now new developments at Jeriau Waterfall
It will further erode the cool weather
As it is now the temperature rising
Even the mists will slowly disappear
Once it could reach down the foothill
At the Gap by the control traffic
Fraser's Hill
The haunted story still persists
Even at the apartments
The haunted tales by those who saw it
The women in white floating by
But do we believe in ghosts?
Walk in the dark shadows
Watch the images reaching out to you
On a moonlit night you may feel it
The ghosts watching you walking by
You can feel the coldness
You hair will start to stand in alert
You will feel the ghosts walking
Suddenly you will hear the whirring noise
You will jump up to stay alert
The breathing will inhale heavily
As your blood pressures start to rise quickly
As the fear of ghosts start to intimidate your mind
You will walk quickly or start to run
On the short cut walking up to Mentakab bungalow
The tall trees, bushes and branches reaching out in the night
You will summon all your confidence to walk up the short cut
Because story of ghosts lurking behind the trees in darkness
I had tried a few times during the nights
I climbed up and I ran down the slope
I didn't want to take chances along the way
Running down seemed a logical way to proof a point
But the story still stays up on the hill
Mentakab bungalow was demolished
A new apartment building was built
Through the years the ghosts story
Hangs in one of the units
So the grapevine plays up the tune
The ghosts in Fraser's Hill
