Walks on the borderline
He doesn't want to be sidelined
Where his party can put him out to pasture
Without his leader endorsing him as a candidate
He is good as saying goodbye to his political career
So he has to walk on fragile line
In his party so he can be endorsed again in election
But as head of government
He has the power to decide a party fate
Since he is a party man he has to play his game
He walks on the borderline
In public perception
He has become a puppet on the strings
He has to dance when his strings are pulled
Dancing on the borderline trying to please both ends

He may not necessarily get the job
His leaders can change their minds
