role model

The minds behind American Idol want you to know that there
was never a moment like this.

The musically gifted Barrino couldn't read contracts, scripts or sheet music--she could only memorize the songs she was told to sing.

She is the role model for others who have no chance of an education. She can win contest of which she is gifted by memorising the words through her listening skills. This shows how important education is for those who wanted to achieve something in life. Barrino has no such benefits but she has her focus on her vocal and her music skills which eventually has helped achieved her freedom on the shackles of poverty. Music plays a part in life richness; nobody shouldnt forget it. Back home in Malaysia I have those people carrying placards denouncing the atrocities over nations. Because we have good government and freedom we forget how to treasure it ourselves. We tend to make it worse telling the World we aren't civilised at all. We forget about own bethrens suffering in silence due to poverty and uneducated. Yet we choose to ignore our own 'war' to fight for something good for these people. All those energy marching in silence or shouting abuses should channel towards helping our fellow countrymen. Charity must begin at home. Have we forgotten it already? When I come across articles about people make it good, it always put a smile in my mind. It is always a good feeling to see these people make it on their own efforts. And I havent really tried hard as them. Because I have peace and freedom owing to the stable government in my country though there are policies and laws which I think benefit the government than the people. But these are the small costs the people have to pay. Somehow nobody can have all the cakes and eat it. So is the government.
