the darkness run 5

On the misty dark night
The ground wet with misty dews
The silence lingers in your ears
As you try to listen afraid to lose

Nothing to hear
No animals no insects
The darkness run
You too follow

The blindness pursuit
You seem to flow
With the wind carrying along
You tumble face downwards

Hitting a dead log
Or a big stone divides
You hardly can tell
You fly into the quick sand

And you hear stories
About millions can be made
As you sink deeper into it
You croak “Help me! Anyone?”

You can feel the sinking
Grabbing your body burying alive
There is no wind; there is no live
You hold your breathe slowly raising your hands

As you surrender your body and soul
Thinking that is the end of the journey
You find yourself pushing upwards
A giant steps out from the sand

“What are you doing here?
This isn't the place to make your millions!”
“I don't know; I just drop in by mistake”
“Now get out of here; it isn't your business”

The giant blows you away
Into a distance coming out into a wet market
You find yourself selling wild animals
The China cats the demand great
