the "tomahawk" birds

The “tomahawk birds”
Flying as a pair into the garden
The grey white yellow underbelly
Dark green and shade of brown

Build nest lay 2 eggs
Hatching done 10 days
The little birdies grow 7 days
Full of feathers, tails and wings

The little birdies hardly make noise
Quiet as a mouse waiting to be fed
It's attitude “Come feed me”
They aren't eager to flap wings

They don't hop and fly around
Unlike the humming birds' birdies
Noises and flapping wings
When they see the parenting birds

So these pair of birdies
Different specie different attitude
Sitting and sleeping most of the days
Waiting to be fed hardly showing gratitude

As if it is saying “you want me feed me”
As it sits without moving an inch......
As the adult birds flying in watching them
Hanging on bamboo branches or across the street
