the 'tomahawk' birds 2

In the cage the birdies sit
Claws tightly holding the thin iron rods
Eyes looking ahead of the tall trees
Flowers and honey, insects and freedom

11 days old 2 days in the cage
Fully grown with feathery wings and short tail
Surprising these type of birds grow faster
With the humming birds about 18 days with tails

Now the adult bird flying in
Bringing food to feed the birdies
Going round and round the cage
The birdies stay put never moving

Watching the scene for 5 minutes
The same scene keeps repeating
Finally make some noises on the cage
The birdies fly gripping on the cage iron rods

Now the birdies learn a lesson
Move to get something to eat
Stay stationery nothing will come
Action must be made to make it turns around

In the morning the cage door opens
Letting them to feed easily.......
The birdies always stay stationery
Waiting to be fed then sleeping away

The mother bird will come
Feed them eat the waste away
The droppings in the cage
The adult bird makes it clean

Now still in the cage
Dangling on the stationery fan
Facing the garden and the street
The freedom when they are ready
