jumping over the bridge

The 19 years old Indian man
On the bridge hand phone in hand
The sun glowing with patches of cloudy spots
Floating along the sky as he looks up

Under the bridge a group of anglers
Trying luck fishing on the river coast
Smoking cigarettes talking about gambling
The pros and cons the sin money the government craze

The warm breezes touching bodies
Carving and measuring the shapes and sizes
The air smell of fresh natural breeze
The group of anglers concentrating....

The loud voices on the bridge
The 19 years old Indian man shouting
The frustration he faces as he tries to say
The anglers listen knowing glances.....

It's about love affairs
The parental objections
The way a block of dark shadow
Catching souls unbreakable pursuit

The silence spread on the bridge
The anglers looking up and see
A flying Tarzan jumping over the bridge
Splashing into the river he floats away

They forget about angling
They rush to the river scouting the scene
The 19 years old Indian man disappears
Under the river taking him away

They call the police
Combed the river finding nothing
The days drifting away night appears
On the river the whisper of darkness
