the empty house

Neighbour moving house
A lorry came to unload goods
Transporting it to a walking distance

I totally forgot about the house warming
I was invited to attend on buffet basis
I didn't realize it was on the day shifting house

So here I was driving through
On the way back from my dinner
I saw the house warming party

The next day the house was empty
Only leaving some used things behind
It is now empty waiting for light...

The house owner wants to rent
Earning income to subsidize...
As the empty house waits....
