In Parliament in sessions
The members too busy?
They can't attend?
They are elected to play their roles
They aren't elected to stay away
Though they still get paid for no show
This is how the voters are angry
The empty chairs
Better let the ghosts tune in
They may make better candidates
Only the unlucky ones will see
The elected members
They should realize their roles
They shouldn't be absent
In Parliament in sessions
The Standing Orders must make a rule
All members must attend Parliament
There shouldn't be any excuses
Since the dates will be known in advance
