Stood tall reaching high

Every day standing proudly

Showing its large green leaves

The strong wind and heavy rain

It stood its ground getting the pounding

The wind didn't stop its hammering

One day in the evening pour it fell

Tumbling down to the sandy ground

The fell of the mighty banana tree

Once it stood tall reaching high

Now it was gone forced by the strong wind

The woman cut the banana tree

Her son took it away to dump somewhere

Once it was standing high

Now the empty space
