For all to achieve
The wealth of the nation
Through academic pursuits
Leave out the 2R
It doesn't bring good rhythm
It doesn't bring in the national identity
It only shows afraid to face challenges

Every citizen has a right to engage
In pursuing a want to make the nation great
Not at the current level of reasoning
Over 67 years since independence
One race still demands for handouts
They have to learn how to fish
Handouts for a short term only

Every race can race together
Gather the harvests in unity
The nation needs for progress
