he wanted to be a woman

He wanted

Be a woman

The trunk of woman's clothes

Hidden under the bed

He couldn't go out

Dressing like the way he wanted

Many would say he was crazy

Living a man wanting to stay as a woman

So he remained as a man

Hiding his interest or desire

He wanted to be a woman

But during those years he couldn't

He only put it up

When my mother asked him to show us

Showing his skill in dressing and make up

He wanted to be a woman

We had our fun

Poking fun at his uneasiness

Parading on his woman's attire

Showing us children other side of life

Goodbye uncle

The years gone away

The memories still stay

You wanted to be a woman
