The sad frogs
The days of wealth
It may have gone
Blame it on Anti-hopping law
The elected representatives
They can't declare support as they like
Many parties amended party constitutions
To control, sack or suspend members
Without recourse for internal inquiry
Once those members declare support for others
They will automically lose their memberships
As well as their status as representatives
There is a still loophole
As long as the members never quit
But are sacked from their parties
They will become independents
In the end the voters have no say
A party president can sack or remove members
Resulting in another round of by elections
A draconian rule benefit the president of a party
In such a case
The court has to decide
Is it against the Federal Constitution?
If there is a case to judge
