You tried your best
You wished you could make the changes
But it is till on the drawing block
The sting may have gone
As age takes its course
You finally see it's the time to quit
Leaving the stage isn't easy
The old timers will remember you
You fought for what you believe
A better place for All Malaysians
A dream still in the drawing block
No doubt you spent some years in jail
Imprisoned under ISA Act by the Old Man
Yet you didn't give up your fight
This can be a legacy for the young Turks to learn
Don't give up when the going is getting touch
Fight it hard and pursue it to win the race
This your DAP members should learn and cultivate
