She promotes her
man in her life
Believing he can be
a better man
She even convinced
her parents
Though her father
doesn’t quite agree
He doesn’t believe
the groom
A different race
which he knows well
But his daughter
convinces him of her man
The parents finally
relented to her marriage
Years down the road
The man is lazy,
drinker and smoker
He doesn’t want to
work
Everything seems
beneath him
He thinks he comes
from a rich family
He will tell his
friends of what he has achieved
The truth is he is
riding on his wife
Her father is rich
with his business interests
He doesn’t pull up
his socks
He drinks and comes
home drunk
Yet his wife just
tolerates him
She doesn’t want to
admit her mistake
He acts as if he
owns the big bungalow house
With expensive cars
park in the porch
With guard and maid
in the home
He commands to
serve him as the lord
Now she lives with
her unhappy life
With her man she
doesn’t want to swallow her pride
Admit her mistake
and let him go for good
She borrows her
head in the sand closes out any advice
Her sister gives
her a mouthful
Yet his wife refuses
to admit her mistake
She still swallows
her pride and pretends
A woman buries her
head in the sand
