Where are the moderate Muslims?

They are hiding, cover in the cupboards

They don't want to be seen or heard

They are afraid to be condemned as heretics

Where are the moderate Muslims?

The village folks are more in tune

As far as I can remember in my days

Living in the village the Malays were helpful

I remembered a Malay guy cut my hair for free

In between he told me to stay away from gangs

He said it never brought freedom but in jail

Like him he went to prison in and out just to look bad

Where are the moderate Muslims?

Maybe there is none to shout about

They let the extremist groups to rear their ugly heads

They will only decide in the ballot boxes

PH leaders must pull their act together

They are the street fighters before

Now it is the time to put in place

The law to thumb down the extremists

But on the ground where are they?

The groups of moderate Muslims?

It is the education needs to overhauled

Change the mindsets; treat everyone as equal
