Sickness can knock
At any time of the day
One minute you can smile
Next minute you are down and out
You don't know why
How it start to whine?
When the cortisol hit it
You realize it too late
You try to live well
Eat proper food; drink sufficient liquid
Eat lots of fruits and exercise
Yet illness just grins and says “Hi”
It likes a wave hitting the shore
Slowly brushing it until the big splash
Before you realize it the whole place get wet
Down in the cold shivering in broad day light
Sickness can knock
Even you can live well
You may worry about the pandemic
But the Trojan horse in the body runs amok
